You’ve probably heard of someone who took the opportunity to climb the career ladder, but the new role meant to have international contacts, attend meetings or make presentations in a second language. In other words, it was necessary to speak another language and this person had a very basic level and lost the opportunity. It can happen to someone you know, or even you. It is very frustrating! Do not miss the opportunity!

Learning a language or make a retraining of language knowledge, avoids constraints, fears and opens windows of opportunity.
Over many years of language teaching in our school we have had many students who come to us because they have important presentations or meetings and need to impress. In addition to the grammatical aspects where they often don’t feel at ease, there is a need to learn and to use specific vocabulary for each case.

We also had doctors who were participating in conferences and needed to practice the presentation in English, but also needed vocabulary in health field. Here our teachers not only help in the preparation of the presentation, but also in communication training, listening and correcting the student until they are sure it will be a success.

At the negotiating table in a language that is not ours, there can be no equivocation or hesitation. The reasoning must be fast, and we cannot waste time looking for the best word. Good communication can make all the difference to reach a successful outcome.

In short, all students have a common need: to be more at ease, without fear, whether in meetings or in public presentations, when they must communicate in a second language. In meetings or presentations, in addition to the vocabulary used in the content of the meeting/presentation, there is specific language to empathize with the other person or to create a connection with the audience. We must speak with conviction and keep the public interested. For this you need a good language level and knowledge. This implies study, dedication, but above all a lot of practice and a willingness to evolve.

AGILE TRAINING teachers encourage students to talk, giving them confidence and unlocking the fear of making mistakes. Making mistakes is part of learning. What is essential is to correct the mistakes and evolve. Then, you have to learn the expressions and vocabulary to introduce a theme and colloquialisms that connect with the audience and keep them interested.
There are currently targeted specific manuals for almost all professional areas that serve as a basis of study. Then, there is the experience of everyday life that students bring to the classroom, for example words that need translation. When classes are in groups, this exchange of experiences is very enriching.

Our teachers will train you to use the second language in an effective way and to use expressions that will help you to support your arguments, to be convincing and to empathize with your counterparts.
