With globalization, travel has become a habit for many people.
When we travel we always come across situations where we are forced to speak. Often when we do not know the language of the country we are visiting, we try to make ourselves understood in any way, often using gestures and drawings. Other times we say words that have nothing to do with the context, creating some embarrassment that in most cases ends up being funny. But in the case of an emergency, the situation is more serious and can become very complicated.

In some cases, if we travel with someone who can speak another language, we expect he/she to speak for us. There are also situations where we try to say something, and that person ends up laughing at us or rebuke and crushes our confidence. There are also situations where, even if we travel with someone else, we end up finding ourselves in a situation where we need to communicate, and we often block at what we want to say, it doesn’t come out! What a distress!

Then there are those songs that we like so much and want to sing but we cannot. There are also those cases you’ve all heard, about people who sing anything that sounds like the original words, but has nothing to do with it, and then get embarrassed.

Then, there are the friends we have in other countries and we end up having very little contact because we cannot say what we want and as we want. Words don’t flow and we always feel that we aren’t expressing ourselves in the best way.

Meaning, knowing another language is essential. Instead of being blocked or be ashamed of speaking, the best thing is to overcome these blockages and not going through embarrassing situations. Learn English or another language of the country where you are visiting, gives you more confidence and peace of mind because you know you will be able to communicate without constraints and will avoid problems and difficulties that may arise.

At the beginning of the course, most students arrive very discreet, willing to learn, but unwilling to show themselves to the group. It is the teacher’s job to know how to break the ice and make students feel at ease to communicate smoothly.

In AGILE TRAINING, classes are dynamic, with a predominantly practical component in which students are led to talk through motivational methods: games, videos, flash cards, role play, group or individual work that will need to be presented to colleagues.

Stimulate self-confidence to overcome barriers and start speaking a language is the most challenging work of our teachers, but also what gives more satisfaction and sense of mission accomplished because seeing student’s progression creates a sense of reward for their work.
