Portuguese A1

The Portuguese Level A1 training module from Agile Training is designed to help you build a solid foundation of Portuguese language skills, grammar, and vocabulary totally from step one.

The kinds of students that start at Portuguese Level A1 they know a handful of Portuguese words or how to string together a couple of Portuguese sentences, but the overwhelming majority of students have no real confidence or command of the Portuguese language but are looking to immerse themselves in an intelligently designed language program to help them get up to speed just as quickly as humanly possible.

At this particular level, you’re going to learn the fundamental basics of Portuguese. You will learn the building blocks of the language, simple and straightforward grammar rules and basic structure elements, as well as a handful of basic vocabulary elements as well.

Simple sentences are the name of the game when it comes to Level A1, and while at times this may feel almost too simplistic for those that really want to rev their engines and master Portuguese just as quickly as is possible, it’s this kind of foundational work from Agile Training that allows you to speed up your language development later down the line.

Throughout the Level A1 course you are going to be introduced to basic grammar rules, a handful of key vocabulary elements, and will begin to understand how to string together both of these core tenets of Portuguese into very simple sentences. By the time you have finished with the Level A1 module you should have no trouble whatsoever writing a short email, introducing yourself, asking – and responding to – a handful of very simple requests or questions, and will be able to describe a handful of people and places on a surface level.

Again, it is of critical importance to remember that this foundational Portuguese language learning module from Agile Training is not designed to get you from the starting line to the finish line as far as Portuguese is concerned.

This is your introduction into this language, helping you to better understand and feel more confident with “small talk” elements of the language more than anything else. You’ll recognize every day phrases and expressions, will be able to integrate basic vocabulary elements into your “database”, and will have more than a functional grasp of the Portuguese language so that you can feel totally comfortable moving forward with the other Agile Training Portuguese modules that follow.

Motivation is the name of the game when it comes to this introductory level. Portuguese Level A1 is just opening the door into this language, giving you insight into what you are going to have an opportunity to learn moving forward while at the same time establishing the foundation that the rest of your Portuguese language learning time is going to be built off of.

Everyone understands the power and importance of building a stable foundation (avoiding a house of cards issue later down the line), and that’s exactly what the Level A1 level is going to do for you. By the time you conclude the training in this module, you will be ready for the following models and will find that your ability to integrate new Portuguese language lessons from Agile Training is greatly improved.

It might not feel like it when you are right in the middle of the Level A1 training, but this really is an effective head start and probably the best “shortcut” you are going to come across when it comes to learning, mastering, and gaining real fluency in Portuguese. This program is systematically laid out to give you every action and advantage possible, and while it can be tempting to want to rush ahead it’s important that you don’t skip these fundamental lessons.
