Portuguese B2

Things really start to get fun and exciting with the Portuguese language when you hit the Portuguese Level B2 module.

This is right around when you are going to start playing around with much more complex sentence and language structures, will have a deep bench of vocabulary elements to pull from, they should have absolutely zero trouble whatsoever with even the more obscure or “novelty” grammar elements that exist in Portuguese today.

Some that break into the Portuguese Level B2 program for the first time find the initial text and dialogue components to be a little bit overwhelming, just because they are so much more complex than the previous modules from Agile Training. However, this is all done intentionally, in an effort to stretch the way that you learn Portuguese as much as possible and to get you as close to functional fluency as can be.

This is going to be a little bit challenging, for sure – but it’s going to be very rewarding at the same time as you move through the different components and discover that you have a much firmer understanding of Portuguese then you may have thought before the Level B2 module began.

Right out of the blocks with the Portuguese Level B2 module you are going to be challenged to craft a text and detailed description about a wide variety of themes, themes that you may not have a whole world of experience with and themes that are going to challenge your vocabulary even more so. This is all done in an effort to expand upon your vocabulary base but also to help show you just how far you have come with Portuguese, pushing you and compiling you to grow even while you build on what is already a rock solid foundation.

You’re also going to have an opportunity to interact with real spontaneity when it comes to regular conversations with native Portuguese speakers. This is the pinnacle of learning the Portuguese language, after all – being able to converse without any headache or hassle, without any fits and starts, and without any nerves about your command of the language – and while some aspects of your conversational Portuguese may remain a little bit rough around the edges while you move through the Portuguese Level B2 module you’re going to be much closer to fluency than not.

Of course, you’re also going to have a better understanding of movies, songs, TV shows, and media produced in the Portuguese language as well. This is when you’re going to start understanding literary pros, will have the ability to read reports on a variety of different topics, and will have no difficulty understanding exactly what is being conveyed via the news or the television shows and movies that you are watching.

The ability to converse with native Portuguese speakers is a game changer here. Your Portuguese will flow rather effortlessly in conversation, and while you may have a bit of a tough time with some vocabulary elements that you haven’t been exposed to in the past your command of the Portuguese language will help you to “fill in the blanks” through the context of the conversation that you are having.

This is the stage where vocabulary growth starts to accelerate even faster, becoming almost effortless because you have such a solid foundation already set up and established. Through your understanding of the context in conversational speech you’re able to listen, learn, and modify your Portuguese on-the-fly – moving you just as close to completely fluent in Portuguese as possible with the Agile Training platform.

You might not be completely fluent in Portuguese by the time you’re done with Portuguese Level B2, but total fluency isn’t very far away at all.
